The Boatswain was an officer aboard Parrish's Ship.
Biography[]
Season One[]
As Captain Flint and the Walrus close in on them, the Boatswain tells Captain Parrish that they cannot outrun the pirates and have to surrender while they still can. Parrish ignores him and orders the gun crews to fire on the pirate vessel. However, their shots fall short. Parrish orders them to bear up, and the Boatswain tells him that the pirates are out of their range. The pirates then respond with cannon fire of their own, causing Parrish and the Boatswain to duck against the gunwale. The pirates continue firing on Parrish's ship with their cannons and when they drift closer, muskets. Parrish eventually calls his men to retreat into the quarterdeck bunker. Given that he is not seen, it is likely that the Boatswain perished before reaching it.
