The Butcher is a butcher in Nassau, Eleanor Guthrie owns a stake in his business and he works closely with her other business associates.
Biography[]
Season Two[]
Esther visits the Butcher while he is working on a pig and tells him that she is there to see the lady of the house. The Butcher tells her that she is occupied, but Esther says it’s news from home. The Butcher then retrieves Mrs. Mapleton, and Esther informs her ofFeatherstone, Jack and Max’s frequent discussions behind closed doors at the Inn.[1]
After Eleanor’s arrest,Frasier, Mrs. Mapleton and the Butcher meet over what to do with the remaining Guthrie business interests. Frasier insists that they have everything under control and should not act hastily or panic. Mrs. Mapleton replies that it is obvious that nothing is in control. Eme arrives and apologizes for not knowing that there was a meeting, saying she would have put out refreshments had she known. Frasier then tells her that Eleanor has been arrested. Eleanor Guthrie’s interest in the Butcher’s business is later bought by Max[2].
Season Three[]
The Butcher stands next to Mrs. Mapleton during the execution of Charles Vane.[3]
The Butcher and other prominent merchants of Nassau and the members of his council are notified by Max that Woodes Rogers has declared martial law over Nassau Town following the murder of Captain Throckmorton and reads to them the letter that Rogers was sent by the Pirate Resistance.[4]
