Cambridge is a city in the colony of Massachusetts located upriver of Boston.

Background[]
The city was founded by Puritans under the name “Newe Towne” in 1632, and renamed “Newtowne” six years later. That same year, it was renamed Cambridge in honor of the university in England. It was primarily an agricultural village.

Dyfed Bryson tells Richard Guthrie that Richard’s family in Boston hold Richard in low regard.
