Carver was a pirate in the service of Edward Teach and Jack Rackham aboard the Revenge

Biography[]

Season Four[]

Carver was a pirate aboard the Revenge. He was captured, along with the rest of his crew, after Jack surrendered the ship to Woodes Rogers in an attempt to save Anne Bonny and Teach. After Teach's execution, Carver is imprisoned on the Lion, which is towed by the Revenge. Rogers soon learns of Nassau's fall, and orders Lieutenant Kendrick and a handful of soldiers to crew the Lion and deliver the forty two pirate prisoners to Governor Addison in Port Royal so they can be hanged, while Rogers makes haste to Nassau. Kendrick feels that he and his men have been cheated out of participating in the fight for Nassau, so they decide to have their own fight.

Kendrick tells the pirates that he will not be delivering all of them to Port Royal, he will decide how many is enough. In the meantime, each pirate owes the redcoats a fight, and to that end, they are to fight Mr. Milton, a massively built redcoat. Kendrick then orders Rackham to choose which pirate will fight Milton first. Rackham refuses, and is then struck by Kendrick. Kendrick tells him to choose, or Anne goes first. Rackham reluctantly chooses Carver. Carver is largely built, but even he is dwarfed by Milton. Carver rises warily to his feet and is unshackled.

Carver rushes into the fight and manages to get a few good hits in before Milton recovers. Carver is pushed towards the sidelines, where the redcoats grab hold of him before pushing him towards Miton. Milton then strikes him repeatedly until Carver collapses to the ground. As Carver lies dazed, two redcoats pick him up while Milton retrieves a wooden hammer  and strikes Carver in the stomach and the head, knocking him to the flooronce again. As Carver begins to crawl, Milton hits his leg, and while Carver's hand is against the floor, smashes it with the hammer, shattering it. As Carver writhes on the floor, screaming in pain, Milton takes the opportunity to smash Carver's head in, killing him.
