Cattle, or cows (female) and bulls (male) are the most common type of large domesticated ungulates. They are commonly raised as livestock for meat, milk or hides, which are used to make leather. They are also used as riding animals and draft animals, which pull carts, plows or other implements.

Jack Rackham tries to recruit men to join his pirate crew while a bull is being led past, mooing loudly.

Meat that appears to be beef is served at dinner aboard the Walrus as it sails to Skeleton Island.
