Chicken is a type of domesticated fowl. They are one of the most common and widespread domestic
animals. They are kept primarily as a source of food, for their meat and eggs. A rooster is a male domestic chicken, while a hen is a female.

Season One[]
Miranda Barlow keeps several chicken and at least one rooster at her estate. Flint is awoken by the rooster after returning there after the Skirmish in the Wrecks .
After taking ownership of the Inn, Jack Rackham, Anne Bonny and Charles Vane eat chicken cooked with carrots and potatoes, while Jack goes over the finances. When Miranda Barlow learns that Abigail Ashe is in harms way, she rushes to set up a horse and cart and warn Flint, scattering her chickens.
Season Three[]
After reuniting after 8 years, Charles Vane and Edward Teach walk past a livestock pen, including several chicken. Chicken bones are amongst the scraps that a rat nibbles on in Jack Rackham’s cell in Fort Nassau on the morning he is to be transferred out of Woodes Rogers’ custody.
