Chicken is a type of domesticated fowl. They are one of the most common and widespread domestic
animals. They are kept primarily as a source of food, for their meat and eggs. A rooster is a male domestic chicken, while a hen is a female.

Season One[]
Miranda Barlow keeps several chicken and at least one rooster at her estate. Flint is awoken by the rooster after returning there after the Skirmish in the Wrecks .
After taking ownership of the Inn, Jack Rackham, Anne Bonny and Charles Vane eat chicken cooked with carrots and potatoes, while Jack goes over the finances. When Hamund confronts them about why they aren't trying to reorganize the crew and get back on the water, Jack responds that he is remembering what it feels like to have food in his belly.
Chicken are raised in Albinus’ Camp, as he is seen eating a chicken leg when Charles Vane meets with him.
A rooster crows as Mr. Scott approaches the Guthrie Warehouse to deliver food to the slaves freed from the Andromache.
In preparation for their final voyage to hunt theUrca de Lima, a cage of chickens is brought on board by Logan.
Season Two[]
Max goes to a marketplace in Nassau and sniffs an egg next to a caged chicken, considering buying it before placing it back.
When Miranda Barlow learns that Abigail Ashe is in harms way, she rushes to set up a horse and cart and warn Flint, scattering her chickens.
Season Three[]
After reuniting after 8 years, Charles Vane and Edward Teach walk past a livestock pen, including several chicken. Chicken bones are amongst the scraps that a rat nibbles on in Jack Rackham’s cell in Fort Nassau on the morning he is to be transferred out of Woodes Rogers’ custody.
