Background[]
After arriving on New Providence Island, Miranda Barlow joined the local congregation of Puritans in the interior. However, they viewed her with suspicion due to her relationship with Captain Flint, and Pastor Lambrick had the Crone keep tabs on Barlow for him.
Season One[]
After taking Parrish’s Ship and getting reelected as captain of the Walrus, Flint rode out to the Barlow Estate late at night. When he awoke, Miranda told him that one of her neighbors must witnessed his arrival, for they “planted a spy” by the scrub pine to watch them. Flint asks if it is the Crooked-Nosed Crone, but Miranda tells him that she passed away and now Mrs. Archer watches her.
