Biography[]

Season Two[]

In a flashback to 1705, Lieutenant James McGraw takes Lord Thomas Hamilton to Wapping, a dockside district in London where maritime criminals are executed, so he can get an up close view of the obstacles he faces in trying to reform Nassau, which is becoming a pirate haven. When they arrive, McGraw asks Hamilton if he has ever seen a hanging, which he answers that he has not. Hamilton then asks who he is, and McGraw says "Davey something or other" and lists his crimes such as high seas piracy, treason, saying they're the same as the last man and the same as the next. He then explains that Davey is being asked if he wants to beg for forgiveness in the eyes of God and Queen Anne. Davey responds by shouting at the crowd and telling them to fellate him. Hamilton glibly remakrs that he assumes that was a no, and Davey is then pushed off the platform and the noose breaks his neck, killing him, much to the delight of the crowd.
