Biography[]
Season Three[]
The Dragoon Captain was among the 700 man British Army contingent that is loaned to Woodes Rogers in his expedition to establish himself as Governor of New Providence Island.
After successfully pacifying the island, to satisfy the deal he made with Spain, Governor Rogers travels to a ship on the southern coast that will transport the last portion of the stolen Urca de Lima gold, which has been converted into a cache of gems, and the prisoner Jack Rackham, the architect behind its theft. Rogers travels by carriage on a secret route guarded by eight dragoons commanded by the Captain.
The ride goes smoothly for the most part, until a party of mounted and masked men emerge from the forest. Rogers calls out to the Dragoon Captain and orders him to fall back and engage the pirates. The Captain then orders his men to fall back defend the left flank. However, the pirates steadily overwhelm the dragoons, and the Captain is eventually shot and killed. After that, the carriage guards are killed and the carriage toppled. The pirates escape with the cache and Rackham, although a wounded Rogers is able to injure and capture Charles Vane with the help of the New Providence Island Militia.
