Duffy was a pirate serving aboard the Walrus under the command of Captain Flint.
Biography[]
Season One[]
The Walrus chases a merchant ship, and successfully immobilizes her by firing volleys of cannon fire into the vessel, toppling one of the masts and killing or injuring much of the crew. Pirate snipers in the rigging then do further damage, prompting the captain, Parrish, to call his men to retreat. Under heavy fire, they retreat to the quarterdeck bunker. However, the pirates roll a barrel of powder against the wall, exploding it and creating a breach that allows them to rush in and finish off the holdouts. During the fighting, Duffy is shot in the leg by Parrish. He is taken to Dr. Howell, who tries to save him by amputating the leg, but Duffy dies of blood loss.
