Biography[]
Season Two[]
In a flashback to 1705, Lord Alfred Hamilton and his son Thomas argue about offering the pirates of Nassau a Royal Pardon, which Thomas hopes to do by passing an act in Parliament. Lord Alfred scoffs and says there aren't four votes in Parliament for such a thing. Thomas quickly names Lords Sutton, Dunster, Lewis, Form and Philpott in response, saying he just named five and doesn't even need to make an argument for them. After this, a lengthy campaign in Whitehall ensues between the two over the pardon issue.
