Biography[]

Season One[]

Hallendale visits the inn and engages in the services of Alice. However, Max grows suspicious of the paltry sum of money (only five pieces) that Alice says he paid. Max recalls how Hallendale only ever asks to be swaddled and suckle on a breast, and the price for mothering is twenty gold pieces, and the price for handjobs is five. Alice says he only had time for the latter, but when pressed by Max, breaks down and admits her thievery and gives the rest of the money to Rackham[1].

Season Two[]

When Ned Low arrived in Nassau, he complained to Eleanor Guthrie that Low had taken a prize that was intended for his crew. Eleanor went to confront Max and Rackham over the fact that someone beat Hallendale to his prize. Eleanor describes him as not particularly strong or daring, but he knows how to manage the surrender of a ship. She then remarks that she gives a lead to Hallendale, who spends all his time at the Inn, and then that lead ends up in the hands of a maniac. Max then admits to selling the lead to Low for 90 pieces. Eleanor then warns them to stay out of her business[2].

Season Three[]

Hallendale and his men were given the option to receive full pardons by Benjamin Hornigold, and they abandoned Hallendale. Captain Hallendale was then chained to his chair in his captain's cabin, given only a tankard of seawater to drink. He wrote in his logbook numerous pages repeating the phrase "we die alone" until he went mad and slit his wrist open. His empty ship was used as bait by Hornigold to catch the Walrus. Flint and Billy find his abandoned ship and his corpse in the cabin, before realizing it's a trap and attempting to flee[3].

Hallendale appears in a dream of Flint's, where Flint finds him dead in his cabin as he did in real life. Flint also encounters Miranda Barlow and a mysterious figure in the dream[4]. While starving in the Doldrums, Silver threatens to challenge Flint's decisions to cut food rations completely for some of the men, Flint counters by saying he will remind the men that Silver failed to warn them of the dangers of investigating Hallendale's ship[5].
