The Intrepid is a large pirate ship commanded by Captain Naft. She is one of the lowest earning ships that ports in Nassau.
History[]
Season One[]
The exact dimensions and defences of the ship are unknown, although it is confirmed that Naft is one of the lowest earning captains, but also has one of the larger ships. When Eleanor Guthrie comes up with her plan of restarting the Guthrie business without her father, she calls in Naft as one of the four captains. Her plans are to take the two lowest earning ships (the Intrepid and the Black Hind) and have them move from fighting to transporting the cargo. Captain Naft agrees and believes that his men will be eager to make the switch[1]. As he predicted, Naft's men agree to transition from pirates to merchant ships[2].
Season Two[]
A stray shot from the Spanish Man O' War lands near the Intrepid's storehouse while she is bombarding Fort Nassau. The storehouse has been freshly stocked with gunpowder, and Eleanor orders Captain Lawrence to move the gunpowder to the Guthrie Warehouse instead of Naft, perhaps viewing him as more competent than Naft[3].
Jacob Garrett, the crew's Carpenter's Mate, and several of his friends planned on breaking off from the crew and forming their own[4].
After the arrest of Eleanor Guthrie by Captain Hornigold, the crew of the Intrepid scatters. It is unknown what happens to the ship[5].
