Season Four[]
James survives the battles aboard the Revenge and is captured by Woodes Rogers, along with the rest of the crew. He followed Jack Rackham in rising up against their Redcoat captors and taking over the Lion.
James continues to serve under Jack during their subsequent journeys to Philadelphia and then Skeleton Island. En route, James sees Mr. McCoy, the crew’s guide, clutch his chest and fall to the deck, apparently having died of a heart attack. Ellers then informs Captain Rackham and Featherstone about this development.
