Lars was a pirate on the Walrus under Captain Flint.
Biography[]
Season One[]
After the first phase of the Boarding of the Andromache, a stalemate ensues as the Walrus crew is unable to breach a bunker deep in the bowels of the ship where the last remnants of Dyfed Bryson's crew have taken refuge. When the crew was attempting to breach the walls of the Andromache's hold, they came up with a plan to send Lars down below decks to try to sneak up to the walls of the hold and to try and throw a smoke grenade inside the bunker. As Bryson's men choke on the smoke, the pirates would then try and breach the bunker. As he is painted in soot to help conceal him in the lightless hold, Gates briefs him on the details of the plan, while Muldoon gives him his smoke bomb and his igniter. Muldoon warns that the wick is fast, so he should only light it once within throwing distance.
Lars is then lowered into the hold by Joji and Joshua. Lars was able to get into throwing distance, but was seen by Hayes. Before he could light the grenade and complete his mission, Hayes shot and killed him.
