The Old Man was a resident of the Wrecks who briefly worked as an agent of John Silver.
Biography[]
Season One[]
As per the deal with Silver, Charles Vane and Jack Rackham approach the Wrecks after dark with the five thousand pesos worth of pearls which will buy the Urca de Lima schedule. They before a rock formation, and Vane asks if Jack is scared, which the quartermaster denies. The Old Man then approaches them, saying they are supposed to give him the pearls. Jack asks him if he was told to say anything else, but is met with silence. Vane begins shouting that he knows the seller of the schedule (which he does not know is Silver) is nearby and to show himself, for that is the only way the deal goes through. Rackham tries to stress the importance of the deal and points out that the seller has all the leverage in this situation. Silver remains crouched behind a rock formation out of sight of the Ranger duo. While Jack speaks, Vane draws his knife and stabs the Old Man in the gut. As he crumples to the ground, Vane removes his knife and wipes the blood off before sheathing it.
