Pirate 1 was one of the pirates sent by Long John Silver to track Flint and recover the Urca cache. He was considered to be one of the six best men at Silver’s disposal.
Biography[]
Season Four[]
The pirate is sent by longboat to Skeleton Island with Israel Hands, Joji, Adams, Colin and another pirate by Silver. Their orders are to find Captain Flint, kill him and reclaim the treasure. They land on the beach near where Flint and Dooley swam to shore with the chest. They see Flint and Dooley just as they enter the jungle. Hands sends the other five to give chase while he waits for Silver on the beach. Hands brings Silver to where the five are waiting.
Adams tells Silver that the tracks split in two directions, and Flint appears to want to divide the group to improve his odds. Adams tells Silver knows Flint’s mind as if it were his own, so they hoped Silver could enlighten them as to the direction Flint went in. Silver angrily asks how he could possibly know which direction Flint went in. He tells them that all Flint needs is an hour or even less to hide the chest. He orders the pirate, Adams and Colin in one direction, and Joji and the other pirate in another.
The three find Flint digging in a clearing, with track marks indicating he dragged the chest with him. Colin asks if they should get Hands but Adams wants them to press on. They try to stealthily approach but step on twigs, snapping them and creating noise. Colin wants to go back but Flint does not appear to notice them and they continue on. When they get out of the bushes, neither Flint nor the chest is anywhere to be seen, only a shovel and small hole. Flint then emerges from the bushes and snaps the pirate’s neck, stabs Colin in the gut, and after a brief struggle, smashes Adams’ head in with a rock. The three bodies are then found by Silver and Hands, who look on the scene with disappointment before Silver realizes what Flint did with the cache.

- Pirate 1 was portrayed by stuntman Slobo Panovic, who was not credited. His character was referred to as "Pirate 1" when his costume was auctioned after the series' conclusion.
