Sibongile Mlambo is an actress and member of the cast of the TV series Black Sails. Sibongile portrays the role of Eme.
Personal life[]
The name Sibongile means "We are thankful" and is common in Southern Africa and given to females by the Ndebele speaking people of Zimbabwe and South Africa and the Zulus of South Africa. Sibongile was born to a Zimbabwean Shona speaking father and a Ndebele mother. Sibongile loves and looks up to her deceased grandfather who was the first Black Chief Justice in Zimbabwe and even has a road named after him. When in Africa, she lives in Cape Town South Africa. She loves animals and feels safe around them.
Acting career[]
Sibongile works as a commercial model, dancer and actress. She has starred in a lot of commercials and has been a maid in the famous "Stokvel" show in South Africa in 2008. She has been presented and endorsed by Ice Genetics for commercial/stills & APM Artistes Personal Management for TV/ film, MLA Moonyeen Lee & Associates in Johannesburg and Generate in Los Angeles.
In 2014-2015 Sibongile started acting in Black Sails as Eme.
