The Spanish Officer is an officer aboard the Spanish Man O’ War.
Biography[]
Season One[]
While hunting for the Urca de Lima, the Walrus and the Ranger come across the Spanish Man O’ War. They plot to have the Walrus pose as a waylaid Spanish merchant vessel attacked by pirates, with the Ranger sailing away flying the Black. After luring the Spanish warship between them, the pirates will open fire on them from both ends. The officer hails the Walrus, and Flint has Silver, who is fluent in Spanish, communicate with him. The Officer asks who they are, and Silver tell him that they are the Cazadora, and their captain is Marco Fernandez. The Officer asks what their port and business is, and Silver tells him that they are from St. Augustine and are a tobacco ship. The Man O’ War turns to fight the Ranger, and the two pirate ships open fire. The Man of War is able to turn its broadsides on the pirates, sinking the Ranger and heavily damaging the Walrus.
The Spanish Man O’ War finds the wreck of the Urca de Lima and guards the area near it while the crews of the Spanish ships recover the gold and set up camp.
Season Two[]
The Man of War is later captured by the surviving members of the Walrus crew. If the Officer wasn’t killed then, he either died of a plague that ravaged the Spanish guarding the Urca gold or by Jack Rackham’s crew when they captured the gold.
