Season Three[]
Jack Rackham says to Woodes that the gist of his book, Voyage Round the World, was that a wealthy son of a wealthy man took to the sea to presumably prove something to his parents, sought adventure, and found the limits of his capacity and stumbled on an impressive story in the process.
Woodes later asks Jack if he really believes that the two are so different. Jack retorts that Woodes married rich and inherited his father Woods' shipping business.
