The Young Mistress was the mistress of Lord Alfred Hamilton and travelled with him aboard the Maria Aleyne.
Biography[]
Background[]
The Mistress planned on travelling to Charles Town in secret aboard the Maria Aleyne in secret with Alfred Hamilton under assumed names. However, a former servant mentioned this to Miranda Barlow, who then told Flint. At Miranda's behest, Flint hunted down the Maria Aleyne, telling his crew that the ship was laden with gold and jewels. His crew boarded her after many months of tracking and at great cost for a haul worth far less than Flint described.
Once aboard, Flint made his way to Lord Alfred's cabin. There, Alfred and his Mistress begged for their lives, promising Flint their fortune in exchange for sparing them. Instead, Flint slew Lord Hamilton and then the Mistress. Unbeknownst to Flint, his crew mate, Morley, witnessed the entire thing.
Flint later told Gates that they were reaching for weapons and that is why he had to kill them, but Gates later searched their cabin and found nothing.
Once back in Nassau, Flint met Miranda at the docks and told her that he killed them.
Season One[]
Morley tells Billy Bones the story of what transpired on the Maria Aleyne in order to convince him that the hunt for the Urca de Lima is just another of Flint's schemes that only serve to further his own sinister agenda.
Gates mentions to Flint that he searched the cabin for weapons after Flint told him he killed the passengers in self defense. Gates accuses Flint of using the crew to assassinate the people in the cabin.
