Zach McGowan is an New York born actor and member of the cast of the TV series Black Sails. McGowan portrays the role of Captain Charles Vane. He is best recognized for his role as "Jody" in Showtime's Shameless.
Personal life[]
Born in New York, McGowan grew up with his parents Vincent and Brenda McGowan and his older brothers Doug and Matt. Growing up, McGowan was active in both acting and sports while in school. McGowan has been married to his wife Emily Johnson since September 27, 2008.[1]
Acting career[]
While growing up, McGowan performed in school plays. His first credited film role was in was in 2004 as "Tony" in The 14th Morning. He has been actively involved in acting since 2006. He was lent his voice to several video games, including Stormrise (2009) and Ironman (2008).
